Sign Audit Survey Pre-Installation
At Astra signs Ltd we think that most important element to a successful installation is a survey which will lay strong foundations for an impressive final result. Knowing what to identify during this phase will save untold costs, our 35 years of experience ensure a successful outcome.
Our project managers will look to provide the important details to design, manufacture and Install of your signage with the future Inspection and maintenance in mind.
Light Pollution, service life & Environmental Impact are some of the elements that are taken into consideration at the very initial stages of the site audit, utilising our extensive cloud based survey software will automatically upload all relevant details from site, such as Lifting Plans and Parking Permit requirements into our MIS Job software which will be used by our sign designers to prepare a 2 or 3 Dimensional Visual proposal for client review, internal design review and subsequent local authority planning approval.
Inspection & Maintenance:
Customer Support certification & warranty
Once your sign is installed whether it is a high level installation, a set of illuminated lettering or a complex Totem Sign, we’ll certify that the sign has been designed and constructed in compliance with BS559 standards, including the design life and a structural inspection regime, which will include the competency requirements to maintain the sign.

It is crucial to practice a preventative schedule with site inspections to catch any potential problem before they become a safety or service life issue, which will reflect on your brand. Astra Signs will ensure any sign repairs or part replacements are carried out quickly, efficiently & to a high quality at a competitive cost.
Whether or not we designed or supplied your signage, our technicians can work around your schedule to get your signage, including digital Led signage or lighting functioning again without interrupting business hours ensuring it has the same impressive look as the first day it was delivered and installed.
Our teams are equipped with communication devices and software which link into our GPS trackers and provide you with real time site attendance times and enable or teams to provide onsite updated Dynamic Risk Assessments based on findings which are captured and shared including the job update and any site images.
