Astra Delivers Stunning Signage in the Bustling Heart of the North East
Our recent collaboration with GMI Construction saw the creation of the signage for the stunning new Dakota Hotel, a sophisticated addition to Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside. This project highlights our expertise in delivering a high-quality suite of signs that were meticulously designed and manufactured to enhance the hotel’s luxurious aesthetic as well as the guest experience.
Our team was entrusted with delivering a signage package that aligns with Dakota’s brand and its commitment to design and detail. We completed a range of signage, which included:
- Room Numbers: 119 individually crafted numbers that seamlessly integrate with the interior detail.
- Amenity Signs: 31 distinct amenity signs that provide clear and stylish direction to the hotel facilities.
- Safety Signs: Essential safety signs that are incorporated seamlessly with the overall aesthetics.
- Elevated Illuminated Logos: Four high-impact illuminated logos on the hotel’s facades and architectural arches, ensuring brand visibility day and night.
Special attention was paid to the materials and finishes, selecting options that exuded quality and complemented the Quayside’s elegant surroundings. The illuminated logos presented a particular highlight, demanding precision in their construction and installation to achieve maximum visual impact.
