The Co-op Live – Vision Brought to Life
Transforming Europe’s Largest Indoor Arena with Next-Level Signage and Visual Identity
We’re thrilled to showcase our work on the groundbreaking Co-op Live, Europe’s largest indoor arena and one of the UK’s most sustainable venues. This ambitious project is a fusion of innovation, craftsmanship, and creativity, delivering a visually striking experience that enhances the venue’s atmosphere and transforms it into an unforgettable destination.
From towering skyline signage to immersive interior graphics, every element of this project was carefully designed to complement the venue’s dynamic energy. The goal was to create a visual identity that enhances wayfinding and branding while contributing to the overall experience of visitors, performers, and staff.
High-Impact Graphics
A venue of this scale demands stunning visuals, and our team delivered vibrant, high-resolution graphics throughout the arena. Every detail was meticulously crafted and printed using advanced Jetrix LED UV roll-to-roll printers, from the backstage areas to the restrooms.
The result? A crisp, bold graphic that maintains its vibrancy and durability in high-traffic areas, ensuring a lasting impact.
Infinity Mirror LED Letters
One of the standout elements of this project is the breathtaking infinity mirror LED podium. Towering at 5 meters tall and spanning 13 meters wide, this installation is more than just a sign—it’s an architectural landmark. Designed to reflect the energy and scale of the arena, the infinity mirror effect was achieved using a dual mirror system, illuminated by 6500K LEDs to create an illusion of depth and movement. The result is a striking focal point that draws visitors in and enhances the venue’s identity.
Immersive Interior Signage
Over 100 bespoke faux neon signs, RGB lighting gateways, and a striking marquee display redefine what signage can achieve in an entertainment space. Each sign was carefully designed to contribute to the overall experience. Some highlights include:
- Decibel Club Sign – A bold, radius acrylic face with vibrant red LEDs, radiating the energy of live music.
- Base Bar Sign – Partially illuminated block acrylic letters for a sleek, modern feel.
- Bentley Record Room Logo – Warm white LED modules with a router cut design for a refined, sophisticated touch.
- Pepsi Max Bar Signage – A pulsating illuminated display designed to simulate the effect of bubbles.
Birds Eye View Branding
The rooftop signage at Co-op Live isn’t just a marker—it’s a statement. Crafted from precision-cut, perforated aluminium, the massive letters ensure maximum durability. Given the exposure to varying weather conditions, the materials were carefully selected to withstand high winds, rain, and temperature changes while maintaining their striking appearance.
A Beacon of Light
Perched 27 meters above the ground, these signs are designed to be beacons of light for The Co-op Live. Standing 4.6 meters tall and spanning 16.5 meters wide, this illuminated feature plays a crucial role in branding and visibility. The signs were constructed using Flexiface technology, traditionally used in square formats but customized for this project to fit the venue’s branding seamlessly. Ultra-efficient static white LEDs provide consistent illumination, ensuring it remains a standout feature even from a great distance.
To enhance reliability and minimize maintenance needs, a secondary LED package was integrated into the lettering. This ensures that any faults in the primary LEDs can be quickly addressed without compromising functionality—an essential feature for an arena with a packed event schedule.
