Modernising St Pancras station with digital signage

DIGITAL INFORMATION BOARDS

St Pancras Station houses 15 platforms and services EuroStar, Thameslink, and East Midlands Railway which is a connecting route to the London Underground. We were tasked with the removal of the station’s existing static information boards and upgrading them to digital providing power to each location.
The purpose of the screens is to give passengers key safety and directional information within the station’s concourse. Five double sided units were installed and one single-sided unit. This was a turnkey solution where we completed surveys, design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. In addition to this, we are responsible for ongoing maintenance.

The screens are a 75 inch Samsung OM75R which have an embedded media player and built-in WIFI. The glass is toughened to protect the screen and a stainless steel kick rail was incorporated to match the station’s aesthetics. All design development and sign off was agreed with English Heritage and the units are fully compliant with SIDOS.
